What I'm Reading Now…
This book is really awesome. It goes through all the necessary steps and info on how to color a comic book page. For someone like me who is trying to develop from "sucky" colorist to "acceptable" colorist, some of the tech info is review, but it is still helpful. Plus, even for those who have colored comics before, it has a lot of interesting organizational techniques that are quite helpful. And, best of all, It comes with a CD that includes Hi-Fi's Photoshop actions for setting up your files, etc. It also includes sample art for the exercises. I would definitely suggest this book to anyone who wants to learn comic book coloring or anyone who just wants to get a comic book coloring tune-up.

Yea, Brian Miller is the MAN! He has been such an influence to me, and he is actually a GREAT guy to boot, which is so rare in this industry! He has taught me so much, and is so great at giving out helpful hints and techniques, much like this book! So may times, an artist hides his secrets, when it's ok to share! I gotta go pick this book up!
